In the final analytical paper students will be asked to show knowledge gained and critical analysis by reflecting about at least two of the major works discussed during the semester and applying background information (for example from the Behringer book, the documentary, museum sites) which needs to be referenced correctly (author and page numbers in brackets and works cited at the end ).
Very good and excellent papers will show personal engagement with the topic, reflecting in an extensive concluding part about questions such as, What am I taking away from this class? How can I stop mechanisms of exclusion when I see them? How can I be more open and respectful of persons who appear excluded?
