With reference to appropriate academic literature, critically evaluate the positive and negative impact of work on worker health, safety and wellbeing and organisational performance.
MARKING CRITERIA
Students will be marked on their use of peer reviewed research and other relevant literature to meet the marking criteria. Marks will be awarded for demonstrating an ability to:
a) Recognise and evaluate the positive and negative aspects of work on worker health, safety and wellbeing (45%)
b) Evaluate the impact on organisational performance (40%)
c) Present the information in an essay format, with good standards of academic writing, using the Harvard referencing system. (15%)
The essay should be written in Arial 12 point text with 1.5 spacing between lines (Line spacing in tables can be spaced as appropriate).
[Note: The weightage is given to you as a guide – giving you an idea how much to write for the respective sections so that your report will have a reasonably balanced and comprehensive coverage. The marking scores will nonetheless still be based on the marking rubics i.e. level of work, learning outcomes, new thinking, arguments, critical enquiry, reflection etc, and this rubics apply throughout the entire essay.
