Throughout the term you have been exploring a theme and its occurrence in the religions we have covered. Write a 5-7 page, double spaced essay on this theme using one religion from each of Prothero’s three groups for your examples: Religions of Release, Religions of Repair and Religions of Reversion. This means your paper will cover the theme as it occurs in three religions.
Be sure your paper includes a title page and title, naming the theme and the religions you will address. Also cite sources in the in text form (Author, p.xx) If the source is a website, please include the URL address immediately following the acknowledgment. This means no footnotes. Be sure to include a bibliography or works cited list of at least 3 books or articles in addition to the class text. Make sure you are using academic sources.
My Theme I chose was “Marriage Rituals”
So throughout the semester I had to research a different religion each week and write about their specific marriage rituals and beliefs.
The religions were; Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Confucianism, Daoism, Navajo religion
