Goal:
Write a 51-page paper in the form of a grant proposal. You are responsible for selecting a novel research question that you plan to investigate and address experimentally. For this assignment the scope of your research proposals are limited to the overall theme of Intestinal Health and Disease. The purpose of your proposals are to design an experiment to address your research question, provide literature support for your proposed approach and to ask the granting agency for the funds required for carrying out your experiment.
Required:
1. At least one peer-reviewed and published review article to provide background information relevant to your question or to the experimental techniques you plan to propose. (Any publication date)
2. A minimum of 3 peer-reviewed and published experimental journal articles (primary literature) that are tightly focused on addressing the same research question you are addressing. (Published between 2018-2021)
3. Proposal should have an appropriate title and sources must be cited using American Chemical Society (ACS)-based format:
