I do not know the order of these steps: -initially applied last year but l did not have the financial resource to pay the master due to the covid outbreak + some masters did not consider me (idk if I should say that but at least say that I am really interested in this university as it will be the second time I apply etc…) + as a result of covid i am currently working into the family business (still working and being productive) and did not pursue my master degree which was my initial aim -emphasize my internationality : i speak 3 different languages; french, + spanish fluently , english considered really good (8/9 IELTS test) so I kinda suit the international dimension they are seeking for -highlight my versatillity: business management student so I learn a lot in different business areas (marketing, accounting, finance) while ultimately concentrating in Finance -cumulated one year of profesional experience : accounting and sales intern (highlight my commercial skills and my client relationship skills, whatever !etc…)in a swiss company and recently was an audit intern at one of the big 4 companies at EY (this is really the most important part of my cv as it really strenghten my application , i evolved in a fast-paced environtment, lot of competition, learn a lot, time pressure, advanced skills learned at excel, deepen analysis of financial statements, rigot etc… you can be creative xD) + I got a 4.3/5 in the final evaluation at EY => really important! Shows my practical and more professional profile -2:1 student with almost always +70% in quantitative subjects (financial mathematics, statistics, microeconomic analysis, corporate finance, financial markets, management accounting for business decisions) + GRE SCORE of 318 (51 percentile in quantitative section and 85percentile in verbal reasoning section) => not a high score in the quantitative section for a candidate in a msc finance ( still above average of the students taking the exam) so maybe offset this with what I said above (my grades in the quantitative modules) and my motivation + The fact that I am a CFA Level 1 candidate (chartered financial analyst) sitting the exam in February 2021 and its a exam covering a wide range of quantitative subjects: quantitative methods, corporate finance, financial analysis – has a Python programming certificate (see attached) where I succesfully passed the exam covering a lot of basic numerical and quantitative data: Basic Programming Concepts, Techniques and Best Practices Data Types, Evaluations, and Basic Input-Output Operations Flow Control: Loops, and Conditional Blocks Data Collections: Lists, Tuples, and Dictionaries Functions -highly motivated lol Finally and most important, thank you very much!
