Write an essay on a topic of your own choosing from the texts since our first essay (anything from Midnights Children to Purple Hibiscus).
Your essay must include a works cited in which you cite all sources in the paper, including the primary texts. You must use either the Chicago Manual of Style, MLA, or APA format for your citations. You are not required to consult and cite from sources that we have not read for class, although you are welcome to do so. The works cited does not count toward the word limit.
