Author Contextualizes the problem according in relation to two different disciplines
Author responds to the problem with an interdisciplinary solution (THESIS)
Author provides a Road map for what will be discussed in the remainder of the paper (e.g. First, Ill address., then Ill address,. Finally, it will be shown that)
Body Paragraphs (See The Craft of Research, Ch 7-11, 12-15)
Argument proceeds in a logical order (What do you need to talk about, and in what order?)
Soundness of argument (Based on accurate evidence and reasoning)
ANALYSIS: Employs Claim, Reason, Evidence structure in engaging sources
Acknowledgment and response: when necessary, anticipate possible criticisms and responds to those criticisms effectively
Employs at least 10 secondary or primary sources In the analysis
The interdisciplinary character of argument is indicated by section headings or is clearly delineated in the content so that the instructor can clearly see (See the Repko book, Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies):

Author provides a works-cited/bibliography page with all sources listed in appropriate citation format (MLA/APA/Chicago/etc.). Formatting
