The purpose of this assignment is for you to reflect on the major viewpoints, theories, and models of program planning and synthesize your understanding of the major foci of program planning. Pick two program planning models or theories such as Sork, Cervero & Wilson, and Tyler. You should provide definitions, comparisons and contrasts between major viewpoints, and a critique of the various viewpoints. The paper should have a minimum of 8 citations for masters student and 15 citations for doctoral student from the program planning literature (academic books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed academic journals). Some of the examples of peer-reviewed academic journals are: Adult Education Quarterly, Human Resource Development Quarterly, The International Journal of Lifelong Education, etc. Please refer the list of the journals in higher and adult education in the course Canvas site.
