My stand is nuetral. “Individuals should have the right of determining whether they should be vaccinated or not.”

My friend had a new born child who died after receiving vaccinations. The next child she had did not qualify for daycare because she refused to get him vaccinated thinking that he would die to. Another friend had a flare up from an unknown blood disease called TTP after rxing her mandatory flu shot from work. My god daughter received all vacccinations and when she started going to daycare she caught something called croupe. The are religions that don’t condone vaccinations. The government is forcing 7-12 school kids to have TDAP or they can not attend school. The military forces anhrax ans small pox shots and small pox leaves a permaneant nasty scare on your body. I am former military and did not like having been exposed to 2,000-3,000 people receiving this deadly shot on a ship thaat was not well kept up. Some people did not take care of their shots and one person even spread it into their eyes.

Linking to the above if possible identify your key topic for discussion and justify your choice why is this an important topic?
Local context: give brief details of your educational setting in relation to the pastoral care and your topic see mission statement, Ofsted report relevant to pastoral care etc

ANALYSIS: Here you discuss the pastoral needs you have briefly outlined above in greater detail = (the problem section of your assignment)
In this section you will identify and discuss the pastoral needs related to your topic area.
Support with evidence whenever possible eg present a case study. You are not expected to undertake a formal research project but evidence you obtain from the setting can include records/interviews/observations [sample evidence can be referenced as an appendix]. In this section give a detailed evaluation of the strategies that you have discussed.
Compare and contrast with good practice how far do the strategies meet the pastoral needs that you have identified.
What are the advantages of using these strategies/what are the disadvantages?
You can acknowledge- here any limitations of your study (for example, your findings will be based upon the experience of one setting only).
Discuss the impact upon learning of using these strategies? {remember LO2] what contribution to they make to effective learning?
Her you might be able to make a statement based upon your findings – justifying/stating that pastoral care/ specific strategies improve learning in your setting [LO2]. If this is not the case discuss why not and the implications of this.

Conclusion
Here you will summarise your key finding – does strategy X meet the pastoral needs Y?
You will reflect upon the importance of pastoral care in improving learning and developing the whole child making reference to any debates you identified in your context section what contribution to this wider debate does the findings from your setting make.
What recommendations will make re: future pastoral care and your setting. How could the strategies you have discussed be improved?
Next Steps? What is the impact going to be on your practice or future CPD of undertaking this study what will you do differently?

There is no fixed number for the number of articles and journals that need to be referenced, but I would definitely like a few (as many as you think fits in with the essay).

This needs to be a Cambridge University 2:1 standard. I really need to show depth as well as breadth (so wider reading is essential). It also needs to show some original ideas and independent conclusions (so not just reciting facts). However, I am not actually at university yet, so I can’t have too much degree knowledge. Basically it needs to be someone with A2 knowledge, who has done a lot of independent research, and therefore made it the kind of essay that university admissions officers would find good.
