essentially, identity is never static. Culture is an important factor in shaping our identity but we never truly identify who we are because we are constantly shaped by our surroundings.

As you reflect back over the readings we’ve done this semester consider how the identity of the communities feature in the readings changed over the time and what affects that changed hat on the residence of and visit to those communities. How is the culture different? How are the people different? What’s the difference between how people on the outside view the city and how it really is?

Simon Worrall writes of london, this great city which like an ancient coral reef has gone on shifting and growing adapting itself to the needs and the reams other each new generation for nearly 2000 years (pg 42). The cities in our reading have shifted and the people have grown and adapted along with them. In your essay used three of our readings to discuss how the social perspectives have changed over time.
