Design a Test
Imagine that you are a test designer for a publisher that has published tests in a variety of areas. You have designed a test in one of the following areas (pick just one area for your discussion): choose only one:
intelligence test
vocational interest inventory
music aptitude test
attitude toward school inventory
You have to make a report to the budget committee of a clinic that might purchase tests from your publisher. You must present at least three types of validity evidence. Which types of evidence will you choose to present? What questions might the clinic’s budget committee have for you? Do you anticipate that the budget committee will select or reject the test on the basis of your presentation? Discuss why or why not. Please answer all questions step by step!
