The paper should flow something along these lines:
1. DNS-Level Filtering (approximately 20% of the papers content)
a. Example of this: Cisco Umbrella and DNSFilter
b. Main points: URL filtering tuned to companys policy, website blocking via blacklists or categories, easy concise reporting functionality
c. Filters billions of web pages, flexible admin controls, easy deployment

2. Next-Generation Firewall (approximately 20% of the papers content)
a. Intrusion-detection / prevention
b. Blocking via country / IP
c. Gateway anti-malware services
d. To help the writer: examples of next-gen firewalls are SonicWalls Next-Generation Firewall TZ Series, Sophos XG Series and Fortinet Fortigate 7000 series (you can Google them to see some of the capabilities they have)
e. Each of the 3 above mentioned next-gen firewall sub-categories should take up approximately 1/3 of the next-gen firewall sections content space
3. Up-to-Date operating systems & 3rd party applications (approximately 20% of the papers content)
a. This section should primarily concentrate on WHY keeping up-to-date is important. Perhaps 20-30% of this section can go over some of the patch management tools capabilities
b. To help the writer: examples of patch management tools are SolarWinds Patch Manager and ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus (can Google them to see their capabilities / uses)
4. Endpoint Malware Protection (approximately 20% of the papers content)
a. 1/3 of this section can describe why malware protection (antivirus) is important, 1/3 can describe how modern Artificial-Intelligence and Machine-Learning based systems are superior to yesterdays tools, the final 1/3 of this section can site a few examples and list some of their strengths
b. To help the writer: some of the best endpoint malware protection today includes Bitdefender GravityZone, Microsoft Defender ATP and SentinelOne (the writer can Google them to see their capabilities)
5. E-mail Protection (approximately 20% of the papers content)
a. This is probably THE most important section. E-mail is the SINGLE LARGEST conduit for malware today. Damn near 95% of all viruses / spyware / adware / rootkits / trojans / worms come via email.
b. 1/3 of this section can outline just how much of todays malware comes through email
c. 1/3 of this section can outline anti-phishing systems
d. The last 1/3 of this section can outline anti-spam systems
e. To help the writer: the best anti-phishing system today is IronScales and the best anti-spam system is Proofpoint (the writer can Google them to see their capabilities)
